SEALz Intumescent Hardware Pad has been tested to BS476 Part 22 and various International standard for up to 120mins fire rating. The ironmongeries that are selected for the fire rated doors should be duly tested to meet the fire rating requirement for its specific purposes.

When triggered by heat approximately 150-200 C, it will expand rapidly whereby it will achieve min over 20 fold volume expansion ratio and produce a high pressure and volume foam to prevent the passage of fire, smoke and fumes from penetrating through the gap of door leaf and frame. It is available in natural black or white with a self-adhesive fixing method with varies sizes and shapes to suit the configuration of differ ironmongery.
